We are proficient at laying turf. Initially, the ground is prepped, with any old turf, tarmac or concrete dug out. The soil underneath is then rotovated before fresh top soil is brought in, raked, and trodden down. The turf rolls are then installed, unrolling in different directions to create the initial stripes. These won’t remain unless you mow very carefully! It is then up to you to keep the turf well watered, and avoid treading on it for a couple of weeks until it has bedded in.

We do not lay artificial grass, as we do not agree with it from a conservation point of view. Today more than ever, we need to support the natural world, including the wildlife around us, as best we can. Also, artificial grass gets ridiculously hot in warmer weather! If you have animals, it often ends up smelling horrible. Naturally, or rather unnaturally, it does not need mowing. However, weeds will still grow on it.
